The Advantage: Cartilage can grow!
If there were a simple way to give yourself and your loved ones a definite advantage would you be interested? Over 60% of Americans over the age of 40 are suffering from osteoarthritis or cartilage deterioration.
The development of this disorder can begin as early as the age of 40 with signs as simple as stiffness in the joints after sleeping or resting. You go to get up from your recliner after watching a movie or when you get up in the morning. That stiffness may be your first sign of deteriorating cartilage or the development of osteoarthritis.
Maybe you are beginning to have trouble raising your elbow above your shoulders or your hips hurt when you walk a good distance. Your back may hurt for no apparent reason. Your knuckles swell or get stiff after using a hammer or other tool that requires grip strength. These signs may be the development of osteoarthritis.
More serious signs can be the inability to squat and stand up again without pain. If you can’t get up after being on your hands and knees without using your hands to push up is another sign of developing osteoarthritis. If the range of motion in your shoulders has decreased you may be developing osteoarthritis.
Osteoarthritis is the number one cause of disability in America. Stiffness and pain are almost always associated with the development of this disease.
Over time the cartilage may become so thin that your knees grind when you squat. That is a sign of bone on bone and is usually associated with pain and inflammation in the joint. Continued aggravation can lead to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, pain killers and eventually surgeries and even knee, hip or shoulder replacement.
In other words, the development of osteoarthritis is no laughing matter. It is a serious condition that can lead to the inability to do your job, walk the dog, mow your yard or even get out of bed without assistance. Many people end up in nursing homes just because of the development of this disease.
Go back and count the number of times I used the word development or developing, all of which are underlined. Why did I use that word so many times in those paragraphs? Obviously, it is to make a crucial point.
Osteoarthritis is a disease that you develop. You do not catch it or inherit it, you develop it and if you can develop it you should be able to avoid it and in many cases overcome it.
Why do some people develop osteoarthritis and some don’t? One of the most obvious reasons is the amount of physical activity a person performs on a regular basis. Too much running, walking, lifting, squatting or bending can make you more likely to develop osteoarthritis.
However, some people who are highly active, run more, walk more, squat more and bend more may never develop osteoarthritis, which leads us to the most common reason people develop osteoarthritis. In my opinion, almost everyone that develops this disorder simply don’t consume the nutrients that are necessary to grow cartilage as fast as they lose it.
The fact that your body has cartilage means you can grow it. So the question is, what does your body need to grow cartilage? That question has been answered for years.
There are specific nutrients that have proven to not only protect the cartilage you already have they are also proving to support your body’s ability to grow even more cartilage.
The Advantage
In many cases cartilage wears out faster as we age due in part to a lack of lubrication. The older you become the less likely you are to be able to maintain the lubrication that is necessary to help prevent deterioration. Don’t lubricate the moving parts of an engine and watch them quickly deteriorate.
Lubricating your joints makes more sense than taking a drug to reduce the pain and the most recognized way to maintain lubrication and speed up the healing process is to take MSM with vitamin C. By maintaining lubrication, you may increase the life of your joints and greatly reduce the likelihood of deterioration.
MSM and vitamin C also supports those suffering with acid reflux, indigestion, vascular deterioration, thinning skin, hair loss, weak nails and low energy. Just a few more reasons I say, “Everyone should be on MSM+C from birth to death.”
Another proven way to support joint health is to take the raw material that is necessary to manufacture cartilage. Proper amounts of glucosamine and chondroitin has proven to be beneficial for those with osteoarthritis.
Osteoarthritis is also an inflammatory condition and some very powerful anti-inflammatory nutrients are, Ginger, Curcumin, Bromelain and Boswelia. All of these nutrients are totally safe and can be taken with any prescribed drug.
With health care cost soring and more people having reactions to drugs, taking a more natural approach may be a better way to accomplish your goals. Taking those ingredients can give you a definite advantage as you age.
