Pain Does Not Need Drugs
We’ve been programmed to think that pain means that we need drugs. The pharmaceutical industry has spent billions of dollars over the last 100 years to brainwash the general public to have this habitual reaction:
“I’m in pain. Get me drugs.”
However, mankind has survived thousands of years previous to this century without having regularly available medicine. While I’m not proposing that every single medicine is bad, what I am saying is that it’s not all necessary. Before our currently conceived concoctions, man used God’s natural creations to ease the pain he experienced.
First, it’s important to understand the source of your pain. According to the ACA, 10% of all Americans suffer from back pain. Sadly enough, our modern, pampered culture has resulted in a lot of sitting and other activities that the human body was not engineered for. Much of this pain can be eradicated by better posture and exercise regimens.
If this is true (and the source may be biased), the Academy of Pain Medicine claims that about 5% of the world experiences chronic pain, which is a little harder to define and treat. These may be due to infections, strained muscles, stress, and other invisible causes. What’s the treatment? Stick ‘em on meds!
What is pain anyway? Almost all pain sources from inflammation or uneasiness in the body. Your body has an immune system that constantly sends signals to the brain about its current condition. If any irregularities are found, your body usually does one thing, pump fluids in that direction. Bile, mucus and blood will collect near the issue to help flush out the issue, each liquid performing different functions. The result is extra pressure and bloating in that area- inflammation.
Often times our body overacts, especially if it is dependent on medicines to “kill” our issues. As the medicine does not effectively treat something, your body will continue to assist or even over-compensate for issues. Did your grandpa ever tell you to rub some dirt in it? While that’s not advisable, he was trying to say let your body fight its issues.
Almost all invisible injuries like stress or joint inflammation is caused by a lack of materials. You didn’t have back pain or stress as a kid, did you? No, because you were a new human being, fresh from the breath of God and your mother’s womb. As we age, the natural material of our body naturally deteriorate, necessitating better nutrition as we grow older.
A simple solution for the pain of inflammation is getting more sulfur in your diet. It allows your cell walls to be more permeable, allowing the existing inflammation to get in faster and fix the problem which equals- less inflammation! With the combination of the health benefits of Vitamin C, try MSM+C to increase your body’s ability to tackle stress and all the bumps, bruises and dirt along the way.
This, in combination with natural herbs like curcumin and boswellia that supports circulation, and it supports the body in cooling inflammation, can help alleviate pain and inflammation and will help to support your immune system.
Or you can just take pain medicine, mask your feeling and numbly allow your body to suffer as it continues to be unable to actually fix the problem. That’s your choice.
