The Pros of Probiotics
Uh, what’s a probiotic? That’s probably what many people say in their head but don’t admit out loud. That’s ok, let’s talk about it.
It may be a little weird to think about bit you are a host of millions of other organisms. While your body is made of cells created by you, that’s not the only resident.
Skin can often have bacterias on it, even if you wash thoroughly. Hair is often visited by mites, especially when you sleep. Heck, the average person swallows a few live bugs in their lifetime without knowing it.
Don’t freak out. Many of the organisms we coexist with on earth are God given helpers, providing services our body can’t do. Ok, eating bugs has no long term value. One very important resident in our bodies are the organisms that live in our digestive tracts. Good organisms = Probiotics. It’s a pretty simple definition when you think about it.
The problem in our modern world is that processed, filtered food kills a lot of what we used to bring into our bodies. A high emphasis on antibiotics has also been stripping our body of otherwise welcome visitors.
So what’s the big deal? What do probiotics actually do? They break down chemicals in your digestive tract, attack harmful bacteria, promote immune health, improve maternal organ health, and can even help with obesity. Scientists are still learning about all the benefits.
As we said, our food and medicine have been eliminating this healthy symbiosis. Regain probiotics through a diet of organic foods. Also try PB8.
